Registered Nurses and other health care professionals caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s and Dementia need a thorough understanding of the diseases and the complexities of patient care. Our Alzheimer’s and Dementia workshops explain how to use this knowledge to enhance the quality of life for the patient, family, and caregivers as well as to promote improved clinical outcomes. This education focuses specifically on the needs of the patient and the untrained primary caregiver in the home setting as they progress through the disease.
